The Day Has Come... I've Moved!

No not me, the blog!

As much as I love Blogspot/Blogger and the things it has enabled me to do (mainly spam you all with my latest university assignments), times are a changing.

My student days are behind me now (thank goodness!) and I've been slowly taking the scariest step from student to 'savy digital nomad' over the course of this year. Maybe you've noticed, maybe not. If you're the latter that is a good thing! If anything I've tried to make this transition go as smoothly and quietly as possible.

MADal T-Shirt Design

"MADal: Inspiring Leaders of Sustainability"

I had the special privallage of creating a t-shirt design for MAD Alumni recently. MAD (or, Make A Difference) is a movement focused on encouraging environmental youth leadership, through a variety of camps/huis.

I was lucky enough to attend a few of these during High School, so it was great to finally give something back!

A Night In Hamilton

So, I did a travel video filming and editing test over the weekend. One of my good friends and I went down from Auckland to Hamilton, to spend a night celebrating a mutual friends 21st. Since I'm on my Restricted licence I took my 'passenger' status as an opportunity to be creative, and used our short time as practice for what (I hope) will become a bigger aspect of my YouTube channel in future. One night isn't nearly enough time to experience any city properly, so Hamilton remains on my list of places to explore. For now though, I've got 3 separate trips coming up at the end of this year, so I'm hoping to follow the same techniques for documenting those too.
